World Class Jockey

Hello and thank you for visiting my site

I did not come from a family background of horses, it wasn’t until I was 13 that I first started riding, but I quickly fell in love with it and at the age of 15 I left my home in Ireland and ventured to England to begin my journey in horse racing.

After a year of watching, working and learning I moved back to Ireland to start out as an apprentice jockey. In 2006, my first year as a jockey, I won the Derrinstown rookie of the year award. From there I continued to improve both in my riding and in number of winners.

In 2010 I was crowned joint champion Apprentice . For the next few years I rode many winners but always felt I had more to offer given the opportunities.

I moved back to England in 2014 as more rides and better quality horses were available. Year on year I improved on the winners and quality count, building contacts and relationships within the sport.

2018 was a very successful season, finishing 8th in the Stobart Jockey’s title with a tally of 113 winners from 679 rides winning £1,131,324 in prize money with a 17% strike rate and breaking the century of winners in one season for the first time. I am hoping to build on that and be in contention for champion jockey in 2019.

On a weekly basis I can be seen on one of the racing channels doing interviews about either winners or upcoming big race rides. Racing is shown on many platforms such as AtTheRaces (soon to be rebranded as Sky Sports Racing) and Racing UK (recently rebranded as Racing TV); plus the larger meetings are shown on ITV.   With many other media streams covering racing, the possibilities and opportunities for promoting a brand are endless.

My aim in life has always been to be the best at whatever I do.  With ambition and luck I hope to be crowned champion jockey in the very near future and would love your brand to come with me on this journey to success.
